Hello world! After about a six month hiatus, I'm back to the world of geek blogging. My old blog (The Tech Blog of Ken) went down when the server I was hosting on had a hard disk failure. Everything was backed up, of course, but for various reasons I didn't get it running again.
FWIW, don't ever buy a Seagate OEM drive from Newegg because if the drive fails, it turns out that you're the OEM and are responsible for the warranty repairs. Spend the extra few bucks and buy the retail version - you'll get the superb 5 year Seagate warranty.
It's going to look pretty plain around here while I get back into the blogging groove.
