If you are like me, you have several misguided, non-geeky friends who have blogs on Xanga (the AOL of the blogosphere), and at some point you've probably thought it was really annoying that they didn't have an RSS feed or even know or care what an RSS feed is. I feel your pain. Turns out that Xanga has supported RSS for a while now, but the feeds are broken - they don't validate. The latest beta version of NetNewsWire 2 (b20?) now manages to read the broken feeds.
Xanga doesn't do much to publicize their RSS feeds, but all you have to do is change the "home" in the URL to "rss".
http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=someuser
becomes
http://www.xanga.com/rss.aspx?user=someuser
